Nobody seem to be professional just by the way they answer to their bad reviews. At this point, I GIVE UP!!! I liked their card and service. Calls to them, their bank, or VISA not returned. This company is a complete joke. Even worse, after the multiple week wait and useless communication with them, they acted like they were doing me a favor by sending me a new card. Such a privilege after preventing access to my funds for weeks through no fault of my own. Turns out, I had to wait for them to send me a new card to be able to access my funds. Movo made it sooooo incredibly difficult and time consuming to file a basic dispute! Garbage company, with a good app. These new security features are not for the faint of heart, to wit: Step One, use your MOVOCash card to make a purchase. HORRIBLE Customer Service!!! Step Four, call the number on the back of the card and get the run around from customer service. That Apple continues to make this app available to unsuspecting users is perplexing. NEVER got any of my emails responded. It was a secondary account.{/INSERTKEYS}{/PARAGRAPH} MOVO has frozen accounts. Now we get an email from the CEO essentially stating that they are again blocking access to our funds. THEN I had to verify my info on a portal because both my movo credit card AND movo cash card were both blocked by movo. I tried to put money on the card and it got rejected for some reason that I never got to know since they never get in touch with you. AND Movo blocked both my credit card and cash card account! Not efficient or effective!! I downloaded this app years ago and remember having a hell of a time trying to obtain or even just move crypto through my account; spinning off a virtual card for subscription trials, sweet deal! Learn some survival skills and Drop off the grid, kid, from technology we should all be free and the Populist Boogeyman a la mode is coming to get you so run away while you can. At a loss STAY AWAY FROM MOVO! Step Eight, call the number again. A couple months ago, MOVO had major issues preventing access to funds for about a month. At that point, if you are interested, we will send you a new physical card at no cost. Sort by most critical and you will be able to read about all the issues within last 60 days. The fact that no one has been able to use their account since early August just speaks to the perpetuating ignorance that this company continues to have when trying to help deal with their customers problems. completely tone-deaf customer service. What they said is a one-time thing is happening every couple months. So why did you ask for account verification if you were going to ignore my request and make me wait even longer to access my funds? That happened and still no card. Movo wins!!! I do not have any more energy for the BS! Countless emails back and forth with Movo requesting same info already provided over and over again only to be sent a dispute form to be completed. Step Ten, transaction securely goes through. Movo has had SERIOUS issues with transfers and deposits for almost 1 month with many customers unable to access funds during this time. Once again, several emails back and forth AND the system was unable to verify my information AND I was locked out of the verification portal. Why not just send the dispute form?? You have been warned!!! How am I supposed to know that unless directed or advised to do so?? We are not yet live with this new function, but we will be sending out an email as soon as we are ready to launch the new in-app verification portal. I was even more surprised to find out that they were preventing me from accessing my funds because of this. Why all of the back and forth emails?? Step Seven, email support. Step Two, receive a notification from the retailer or vendor informing you that your transaction cannot be completed because your card has been blocked. AND Movo reported unable to verify my identity! I got a response back asking for verification through personal info like DOB and SS , which I provided. You will be instructed to verify your identity with the URL they provide. Let me just say, this was THE WORST experience I ever dealing with a credit card company! Step Three, check your card balance and discover you have the funds to make said purchase. Their support at first acted like they could resolve the issue, but after many hours of my time in email messages and phone calls, it turned out to be a complete waste of time. Procedure for verifying and unlocking does not work. My direct deposit has now been rejected and bounced back to my employer. Have customer service input your verification information manually on their end. CONSUMERS BEWARE AGAIN, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Also many customers have had their accounts erroneously blocked due to fraud with no way to access funds. AND now Movo wants me to send in a copy of front and back of my State ID with a selfie??!! Calling and being told it takes 24 hours to receive your email to finish verification, called after 24 hours and was then told 2 days. I have been using MOVO for months and never had an issue until now. I am over this BS! Movo is NOT what it used to be!!! I have never been so frustrated with a bank in all my life! Movo may have been great in the past, but BEWARE!!! Step Nine, wait. I should have learned from the first ordeal and jumped ship then. {PARAGRAPH}{INSERTKEYS}In July perhaps sooner , new features were added to the card and app, effectively eliminating the passe, old-fashioned transaction and initiating a new, high-tech method of purchasing goods and services securely. I emailed them immediately after seeing this email and asked them to enable me to transfer my funds out of their bank. Still nothing. Forget about the dispute!!! The only thing I have come to expect from MOVO is deception and irresponsibility. Customer service will direct you to email support. After accurately answering all of the verification questions, my identity was still unable to be verified. Terrible service. My card stopped working from nowhere and they never sent ONE email explaining why. I was foolish to leave any money with MOVO. This company is VERY unprofessional, SLLOOWWW, and dysfunctional. Anything other than 1 space PLEASE ADVISE!!! Read RECENT Reviews!!! I have to wait and see what they come up with and only then can I apparently attempt to gain back access. Movo can keep the money on both my credit card and cash card! No follow up or helpful answers from customer service. AND now they are saying his card is locked for fraud. This is my story I tried to dispute a charge due to erroneously being charged after 90 day free trial period. Wow, what a treat!! I no longer care about the money. Receive multiple canned email replies, none of which solve the issue. Step Six, call number again. After I received a call from Movo it was determined it was a system error as I was supposed to enter 2 spaces between my first name. My time is worth more than this BS! Since this has been going on since at least July perhaps sooner and it is now October , one can only conclude that the problems are internal. Once I can actually get my money out of there I am cancelling my account ASAP. This is not an isolated incident, in fact, MOVOCash claims to be dealing with wide spread fraud and that the hoops you need to jump through in order to make a transaction are necessary. Forget about unblocking my account.
